On the ceremonial touobing of certain parts of the body while repeating at the same time the Mantra-formulas obtained by putting the successive letters of the alphabet and the word नमः after ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं हां. This Nyasa is considered to be a preliminary ceremonial to the repetition of the Srividyamantra Beginning:
अस्य श्रीहृल्लेखामातृकासरस्वतीमन्त्रस्य ब्रह्मा ऋषिः, गायत्री छन्दः, हल्लेखामातृका सरस्वती देवता; हं बीजं, रं शक्तिः, ई कीलकं, ममोपास्यमानश्रीविद्याङ्गत्वेन हृल्लेखामातृकान्यासे विनियोगः । End:
