An elementary treatise on Advaita-Vēdānta by Amarēsvaraśāstrin of the Kambhampāți family and pupil of Dakşiņāmürtīśvara.
The name of the work means that it is a powerful sun in relation to the darkness of ignorance. The transcription of this manuscript was completed on Sunday the bright half of the month Puşya in the year Vyaya.

यत्तत्त्वं निखिलस्य यत्र निवसत्येतत्समस्तं जगत् यत्सत्त्वान्वयतोऽस्य सत्त्वमिह यद्भासास्विलस्यास्य धीः । यत्साक्षात्कृतिरात्मतत्त्वविषयाज्ञानापहारक्षमा तत्तेजो हृदि धारयेऽहमभयं श्रीदक्षिणास्याभिधम् ॥ देवस्तत्त्वमसीति बोधयतु मां मुद्रावता पाणिनेत्येवं प्राञ्जलिना मया सविनयं स्वप्नेऽर्थितस्येशितुः ।
