________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir (XLIII) KAVIBHUSHANA GOVINDA SAMANTARAYA: Kavibhoshana Covinda, a famous poet and scholar of Orissa of the 18th century wrote a Smrti work called fragte which was very popular in Orissa. The first part of this work divided into two parts has been published (84). But its second part or seatice which is found in a manuscript preserved in the Ori sa state Museum is important as it gives an elaborate history of the family of the poet which has been quoted in the proper place of the catalogne. From this the following genealogy of the post can be drawn. Durgadisa of the Bharadvaja gotra founded the Brahmana sasana दुर्गादासपुर Kavichanilra Vigranatha Samantaraya (He was hononred in the court of Akbar throngh the help of Rija Manasimha between 1594-97 A. D. He settled in Pratipa Rimachandrapura after his return from Delhi) Mahadeva Mahesvara. (Both the brothers settled in the kingdom of Banki in 1615A..D.) Trilochana Samantaraya.
