___Date of Vallabha:- "first half of the roth cent" See S. K. De- Sanskrit Poetics Vol. I, p. 97, alo Duff's Indian chronology p. 87 where A. D. 925 is given as the date of Vallabha. Vallabhadeva wrote commentaries on Kalidasa,
Magha, Mayura and Ratnakara. This Vallabhadeva is different from Vallabhadeva the author of gargantar who belongs to a period between I400 and 1450 A. D. (according to Bühler).
