legible; two lines in red ink on either border; paper old and musty.
The work deals with the construction and consecration of divine images. The present codex is only a part of the work dealing with sthāvara-Visnupratisthā. “A complete Ms. of the work is not known", says Haraprasad Shastri, while describing a Ms. of this work in his Catalogue. Stāstri's Ms. contains 132 folios and hence is bigger than our codex. The author, Vāsudeva, was the son of Āpadevabhatta a Cittapāvana brahmin. According to Kane he flourished between 1620 and 1760 A. D. The work is also known as Vasudevi and Pratisthāratnamālā. The present codex starts with simhāsanāparaparyaya-pindikāpratisthā on fol. 54a and ends abruptly on that
very folio. Age-Appears to be old. Author - Vasudeva. Subject - Dharma. Degins-fol. 10
श्रीगणेशाय नमः॥ अथ स्थावरविष्णुप्रतिष्ठोच्यते । तत्रादौ मूर्तिनिर्माणप्रकारः ।। कल्परत्ना. करे ॥ आदौ गणेशं नत्वा शिल्पिभिः शुद्धदेशस्यो शिला प्राक् पश्चिमायता दक्षिणोत्तरायतां वा गृह्णीयात् । etc. fol. 536 देव स्वकीयया वाचा स्वयांतः प्रेषितोत्थितः
यदवोचमहं किंचित्स्वामिन्तत्क्षतुमर्हसि ॥ १॥ आलोडय बहुधा ग्रंथान्सारसुद्धृत्य सर्वतः। वासुदेवेन विदुषा प्रयोगोयं प्रकाशितः ॥२॥
