Devanagari characters; this is a pagèr Ms; the text written in small, perfectly legible, uniform and very good hand- writing; same is practically the case with the commentary except that it is written in very small hand-writing; borders ruled in two pairs of lines and edges in one, in red ink; in the case of the borders space between the pairs coloured yellow ; foll. numbered in the right-hand margin; the central portion and the middle portion of each of the two margins decorated with small designs in red colour in the case of fol. r' and fol 10; edges of the ist fol. slightly gone; condition on the whole good; the text has the last verse numbered as 23 but it is a mistake since the verse following 20th is wrongly numbered as 22 instead of 21 ; the commentary goes up to the 21st
verse. Age.- Fairly old. Author of the avacūri. Not mentioned. Subject.— The Prakrit text along with a small commentary in
Sanskrit. 1-2 These refer to a column.
