This sign of " flyfot" () indicates that the work so pumbered is a compendium of 18 hymns forming two equal groups designated by me as "A" and "B". Some of these 18 hymns aulcgize Tirthankaras by mentioning their names and some without doing so. The former are of two kinda according as they deal with Tirthankaras singly or jointly.
* This sigo of "asterisk" indicates that the hymn in question consists of four verses and they eulogize mostly any one particular Tirthankara, all the Tirthankaras, the Jaina sanon (or at times regime ) and a celestial being.
3 This bymn praises yaksas, śrutadevata and kşett adevatā, too.
I This sign of "double obelisk" denotes that the hymn deals with one - Specific Tirthankara, 24 Tirthankaras, the Jaina canon and a goddess.
