Description.- Country paper thick, tough and white; Jaina
Devanagari characters%3 big, perfectly legible, uniform and very good hand-writing; borders ruled in three lines and edges in one, in red ink ; foll. numbered in the right-hand margin; fol. 4b blank; red chalk rarely used; condition very good; white paste used for making letters illegible ;
complete; the last verse is numbered as 72. Age.- Not modern. Author.- Jinasena. There are two monks, Jinasena by name. One
of them is a pupil of Virasena of the Sena Sangha and the author of Adipurāņa (a portion of Mahāpurāņa ) and Pārśvābhyudaya. He finished in Saka Samvat 759 Jayadhavală left incomplete by his guru Virasena. The other monk named as Jinasena is of Punnāta Sangha, and he
composed Harivarnsapurana in Saka Samvat 705. Subject.- Glorification of Lord Rsabha. It seems that the cor
rect ending portion does not occur in Adipurāņa, and same
appears to be the case with Harivamśapurāņa. Begins.-- fol. I.||६०॥ ॐ नमः सिद्धेभ्यः॥
कृतपूजाविधिद्भ्यः प्रणम्य परमेष्ठिनं । स्तोतुं स्तुतिभिरित्युच्चैरारेभे 'भरताधिपः ॥१॥ त्वां स्तोव्ये परमात्मानमपारगुणमच्युतं ।
चोदितो(s)हं ब(ब)लाद भक्त्या शक्त्या मंदो(७)प्यमंदया ॥२॥ etc. Ends.- fol. 4.
त्वत्पादस्मृतिमात्रेण पुमानेति पवित्रतां । किमुत त्वगुणस्तुत्या भक्त्येवं सुप्रयुक्तयाः॥ (७०)।। भगवस्त्वत्पदस्तोत्रात यन्मया पुण्यमर्जितं । तेनास्तु त्वत्पदाऽभोजे परा भक्तिः सदाऽपि मे ॥ १॥ इत्थं चराचरगुरुं पुरुमादिदेवं ___ स्तुत्वाऽघिराद धरणिपैः सममिवा(बो)घः । आनंदवा(बा)पलवसिक्तपुरप्रदेशो ।
भक्त्या ननाम करकुड्मललग्नमौलिः ।। ७२ ॥ इति श्रीजिनसेनाचार्यकृतऋषभाजिनेंद्रस्तुति(:)। समाप्त:(ता) ॥१॥
