Kharatara gaccha. If former, it was at his instance that Merutunga Sûri, pupil of Mahendra Sūri, conimented upon Sattari-bhasa in Vikrama Samvat 1449. If latter, he is 10 one of the vidya-gurus (teachers ) of Nemicandra Bhanda
