karas, the Jaina canon and Bhārati, the goddess of learning in the metre known as " Dandaka" together with its
elucidation in Sanskrit. Begins.-- ( text) fol. 1. नमः ।
रुचितरुचिमहामणिस्वर्णदुर्वनिवृत्तपाध्यभृच्चित्रशालत्रयीमध्यमध्या. सितं भाभिरुद्भासितं निर्जरोपासितं
___ समदमदनतुंगमातंगनिर्भगसारंगनाथं सहोभिर्महोभिर्महामाहसंदोह
विध्वंसदक्षं सदक्ष सदा ,-(com.) fol. !' श्रीसद्गुरुभ्यो नमः ।
वर्धमानभियं नत्वा वर्द्धमानं गिरां गुरुं ।

अपमलकलहंसमवासितानामिताराजिता राजिता संपदा शर्मदा मंदमदारमालामिरभ्यर्चिता चर्चिता चदने
विकसितशतपत्रपत्राभनेत्रा पवित्रा विचित्रा ममद्यत्वविद्या विभियादवयानि सपः प्रदद्यादलं भारती भारती ॥ ४ ॥
इति श्रीदंडकस्तुतिः। श्री ।। -(com.) fol. 2° पुनः किंविशिष्टा भारती पवित्रा पूता पुनः किंवि० अनेकनयवचनांतर्गतत्वादित्यर्थः॥४॥ etc.
श्रेष्ठभेष्ठिकुलोत्तसा वाचका मेघनंदनाः। शिष्याणना तदीयेन विवृतिर्विदधेशतः ।।
इति श्रीमहावीरदंडकस्तुतेवृत्तिः समाप्ता। Reference.- For an additional Ms. see Jinaratnakosa (Vol. I,
p. 332). Here this hymn is named as Rucitadandakastuti and Adbhutadandakastuti. Its author's name is inentioned as Jineśvara Suri and that of the commentator as Padmaraja (V.S. 1624), pupil of Punyasagara.
