Age.- Samvat 1527. Author of the text--Somasundara Sūri, pupil of Jñan asagara Suri,
pupil of Devasundara Sûri of the Tapā gaccha. Over
and above Astadašastavi he has composed Kalpantarvácya, s: "Jinapañcakastora ( in different languages ), 2 Yugadijina
stava and Caturvimšatijinabhavo kirtnastavana. Besides, he is an author of the following two Gujarāti works in verse :
( 1 ) ATTITAITIĦ and ( 2 )' THEI'.
Further he has composed a Gujarāti bālāvabodha on the following works:
___ आराहणापडाया, 'उवएसमाला, नवतत्त, योगशास्त्र, सट्टिसयग and Agim.
Moreover, he has composed an avacūrņi on the , : following Prākrit works :
(1) arraxer ( 2 ) az ut, ( 3 ) Càguature,
बंदणगभास, पञ्चखाणमास and सत्तरिया.१ „ of the avacūrņi.-Somadeva Gaņi, pupil of Somasundara Sûri. Subject. - Nine stotras so composed as to contain all the forms of
the pronoun yuşmad joined with other words forming a 'Bahuvrihi' Samāsa. These are explained in Sanskrit For a parallel work dealing with forms of asmad see Yuşmacchabdanavastavi.
The first stavi consists of nine hymns. Of them the first is a panegyric of Lord Pārsva and the fifth that of Pārsva and Lord Supārśva. The second hymn eulogizes
