Description.- Country paper thick, rough and white; Deva någari
characters ; sufficiently big, perfectly legible, uniform and beautiful hand-writing; borders ruled in two lines and edges in one, in black ink; foll. numbered in the right-hand margin , fol. 96 blank; condition very good; both the text and its commentary complete so far as they go ; the former has the last verse numbered as 8; the last fol. seems to have been pressed against a wooden board having strings
attached to it at equal intervals. Age.- Not quite modern. Author of the text.- Not known. ,
, commentary.- Pārsvadeva Gani alias Sricandra Sūri. As regards this Gani, the following observations are made by Muni Catura vijayaji in his Sanskrit introduction (pp. 30–32 ) to Jaina-stotra-sandoha ( pr. I):
( 1 ) He is a pupil of Dhaneśvara Sûri of Candra kula.
( 2 ) He was named as Śricandra Sūri at the time he was made “Sūri ",3
(3) He assisted his guru in his composing a commentary on Saddhasayaga, in Vikrama Samvat 0171.
