if he can be identified with any one of the following :--
(1) Merutunga Sūri, pupil of Candraprabha of Nagendra gaccha, and the author of Prabandhacintāmaņi (Samvat 1361).
(2) Merutunga, the author of Kāmadevacarita (Samvat 1409 ) and that of Sambhavanāthacarita (Saṁvat 1413).
(3) Merutunga Suri, the successor of Mahendraprabha Súri of the Añcala gaccha and the author of Şaddarśananirnaya also called Şaddarśanasamuccaya (c.
Samvat 1445 )' etc. Subject.-- A hymn in praise of the image of Lord Parávanātha at
