Country paper; Devanagari characters; handwriting legible ; two lines in black ink on either border ; benedictory phrase, topics, names of authorities quoted, marks of punctuation with verse numbers and colophon are tinged with red pigment; paper old and slightly wormeaten ; incomplete.
A compilation from different Puranas dealing with the celebration of the jayantis (anniversaries) given below. It seems to be a different work from other works going under this name.

श्रीगणेशाय नमः ।। हारितस्मृतौ रामनवमी ॥ तस्मिन्नवम्य शुक्ले तु नक्षत्रे दिति दैवते ।
तर्हि जातो जगन्नाथो राघवः पुरुषोत्तमः १ ॥ परासरस्मृतौ ॥
मेषे चैत्र शुक्लपक्षे नवम्यां च पुनर्वसौ ।
तस्यां जातो जगन्नाथ काकुत्स्थो रावणद्विषत् ॥ etc.
हारितः ॥
मेखला जिन दंडादिधारिणं बहुरूपिणं । कलधौतमयं पात्रं दद्यात् धान्यसमन्वितं ॥ २१५
'बुधे श्रवणसंयुक्ता द्वादशी संगमोदके ।
दानं दध्योदकं शस्तं उपवासः परो विधिः ।। २१६
इति श्री जयंतीनिर्णयः ।। श. १८५८ ना भाद्रपद शुददशमी बुधे
