No. 1895-1902
Size.-94 in. by 54 in. Extent.- 73 leaves ; 14 lines to a page ; 30 letters to a line. Description.- Country paper ; Devanagari characters ; handwriting
bad ; two irregular lines in black ink on either border ; paper very old, worn out, musty and much worm-eaten.
The work is a commentary on Trimsacchloki or Aśaucasamgraha by Raghunāthabhatta, author of Kalatattvavivecana (See No. 201 ), etc., son of Mādhavabhațţa and younger brother of Viśvanāthabhatta. The date of its composition is given as #TAGÈTI H à Tree Saka 1645, which is mentioned also in Stein's Ms. But this is a mistake; the era should be Vikrama and not Saka, as is shown by the date of copying it (APART catA fa = 1677 Vikarama Sam. ) apart from the external evidence given by the date of composition as given in Kälatattvavivecana (See No. 201). Hence the work was composed in 1589 A. p. and not in 1578 A. D. as mentioned by Kane (Hist. Dh. I, p. 726). The copyist, Samarāja by name, seems to have been a contemporary of Raghunathabhatta, for he copied this Ms. in the same year in which Kälatattuavivecana was
composed. Age.- Sam. 1677 = 1621 A. D. Author.- Raghunāthabhatta. . Begins.- fol. 16.
