Size - 12 in. by 6 in. Extent -- 262 leaves, 10 lines to a page, about 38 letters to a line.
Description-Country paper. Devanagari characters, clean and
legible writing, generally correct. The right side of the entire Ms. must have been immersed in oil; the leaves in consequence have become very brittle on that side and parts of the margin actually broken off. Otherwise complete, except for the fact that the last leaf containing a line or two about the date and other particulars of
the scribe is absent. Age-Samvat 1909.
Author-Somadevayati. Subject - The Sūtras of the Jainendra grammar together with a
succinct commentary entitled Sabdārņavacandrikā. Begins - ॐ नमः सिद्धेभ्यः । श्रीमत्स्याद्वादविद्यापतये नमः । श्रीसरस्वत्यै नमः ।
श्रीमदभिनववादिविद्यानंदस्वामिभ्यो नमः ॥
श्रीपूज्यपादममलं गुणनंदिदेवं सोमामरव्रतिपपूजितपादयुग्मम् । सिद्धं समुन्नतपदं वृषभं जिनेंद्र सच्छन्दलक्षणमहं विनना(मा)मि वीरम् ॥ १॥ श्रीमूलसंघजलजप्रतिबोधमानो मेघेदुदीक्षितभुजंगसुधाकरस्य । राद्धांततोयनिधिवृद्धिकरस्य वृत्ति रेमे हरीदुक्तये वरदीक्षिताय ॥२॥ लक्ष्मीरात्यंतिकी यस्य निरवद्यावभासते।
