A. Kåtantra
Begins – Only a fragment of fol. 183 exists. Sūtra 3. 1. 18 (Prof.
Eggeling's edition), occurs in the middle of fol. 184a. Thus the work commences early in the first one of the माख्यात section. The Jet commences on fol. 345a. In commenting on the first Sutra the author only says सिद्धिशब्दो मंगलार्थः,
without giving the reason why was necessary. Ends - वृद्धिशब्दो मंगलार्थः ॥
इति मितमतिबालबोधनार्थम् परिहृतवक्रपदैर्मया वचोभिः । लघुललितपदा व्यधायि वृत्ति
{दुसरला खलु बालबोधिनीयम् ।। इति श्रीपंडितभट्टजगद्धरविरचितायां कातंत्रवृत्तौ बालबोधिन्या कृत्प्रकरणे भातुसंबंधपादः षष्ठः ॥ समाप्तं कृत्प्रकरणम् ॥ ममायुश्चेयं बालबोधिनी कातंत्रवृत्तिः। शिवमस्तु ।। ॐ नमो मृत्युंजयभैरवायों नमः ॥ ॐ नमः श्रीसिद्धलक्ष्म्यै नमः । ॐ नमो गुरवे । ॐ श्री शाकः १५९१ संवत्सरः ४५ भाद्रपदमासः पक्षः सितेतरः तिथिर्धादशी वारो काव्यस्येति ॥ * स्वस्त्यस्तु ॥ ग्रं सहस्रं १३००० कपटिकाः ३५ शुभमस्तु At the other side of the last leaf we have a Bhūrja slip pasted which gives the following date - ॐ संवत् ७२ पौष तिथि ५ गुरौ which refers probably to a mortgage (बंधस्थापित) of the work to another for one month. The date given in the Report, Saptarsi 13, may have been due to a hasty glance at the last line which gives 13000 as the total grantha.
