Description - Foreign paper. Devanagari characters. Bold, legible
and typically beautiful writing, almost looking like printed letters. Margins marked artistically. Fairly correct. Com
plete. Quite a new copy. Age - Sake 1807. Author - Krsna Pandita or Sesakrsna, son and pupil of Nrsimha,
and the author of Padacandrikā also after which the present work is modelled. May this be the same Krşqa, who is the author of a Commentary on Prakriya-kaumudi ? See No. 31 of 1868-69 [= Serial No. 114 in Des. Cat. Vol. II, Pt. I]. The beginning verse of that Prakriyākaumudirika and the present work, is the same word for word, Aufrecht puts all the three works against one and the
same Krsna. Subject - A work on Prakrit grammar. The tittle of the work as
written on the outside of the first leaf is प्राकृतभाव चंद्रिका. Begins - अलिकुलमंडितगंडं प्रत्यहव्यहतिमिरमातडं ।
सिंदूरारुणझुंडं देवं वेतंडतुंडमवलंबे ॥१॥ कलितकलमपुस्तन्यस्तहस्तानमुद्रा दिशतु लिखनशुद्धिं शारदा शारदा नः । प्रतिवदनसरोज या कवीनां नवीनां वितरति मधुधारां माधुरीणां धुरीणां ॥२॥ श्रीनृसिंहगुरोर्नत्वा पदपङ्कजतल्लजं । विशदार्था शिशुहितां कुर्वे प्राकृतचंद्रिकां ॥३॥ प्रकृतिः संस्कृतं तत्रभवत्वात्प्राकृतं स्मृतं । तद्भवं तत्सम देशीत्येवमेतत्रिधा मतं ॥४॥
