On Fol. 118b - occurs - इति शाकटायनं । शाकटायनशब्दो लोकेषु सुष्टु प्रथते इत्यर्थः । again, on Fol. 96a अनुशाकटायनं वैयाकरणाः। उपकालिदासं कवयः। तस्मादन्ये हीना इत्यर्थः ।। Dr. Kielhorn suggests that these instances as well as certain technical terms “would seem to show that the work is clearly related to the grammar of शाकटायन". The second instance at any rate may refer to the ancient Terra as much as to the modern.
