Subject.~ A story of Candralekha. It points out the advantage of
practising sāmāyika, the ist of the four disciplinaly vows
( śikṣāvratas ) meant for the Jaina laity. Begins'.- fol. . Ends. - fol. 23 भखंडव्रतच नातं ततोऽहं नियम न स्यजामि एवं चिंतयंत्या तस्याः ।
कर्मक्षयकृतो ज्ञानं केवलमुत्पदे तत आसन्नसुरैलिंगे अर्पिते पंचमुष्ठिलुचनं बिधाय गृहीतयतिवेषा सुरकृतकांचनकमले निविधष्टा लोकोनां धर्ममुवाच तया व्यंतर्या क्षामिता दुलंलितप्रमुखं लोकं प्रतिबोध्य 'शत्रुजय गिरी शिवं गता ॥
इति सामायिके चंद्रलेखाकथा ॥छ॥ Reference. - This work may be compared with Candralekhakathā 10
(anonymous ) in Prākrit and one in Sanskrit by Matikusala mentioned in Jinaratnakosa ( Vol. I, p. 120).

7 नमस्त्रिजगन्नेतुवी(वीरस्याग्रिमसूनवे । समस्तलब्धिमाणिक्यरोहणायेंद्रभूतये ॥१॥ पादाभोज भगवतो गौतमस्य नमस्यतां । वशीभवति त्रैलोक्यसंपदो विगतापदः ॥ २ ॥ etc.

“Between fol. 18b to fol. 23b of 1339 of 1886-92 there is no indication as to where महापद्मकथा ends and where चन्द्रलेखाकथा begins and it will not be possible to copy out the untraceable material",
