någari characters with frequent Talats ; small, perfectly legible, uniform and very beautiful hand-writing ; borders ruled in two pairs of lines in black ink; the space between the pairs coloured red; numbers for the verses, their dandas etc. written in red ink ; foll. numbered in the right-hand margins ; in the left-hand margins the title is written as भीमकुमरकedges and corners of each and every fol. more or less gone; fol. 4 torn; condition on the whole tolerably good; unnumbered sides have a small spot in red colour in the centre, whereas the numbered in each of the two margins, too; incomplete
as it ends abruptly. Age.- Pretty old. 20 Author. – Not known. Subject. - Narration of Bhimakumăra illustrating the importance of
a himsa ( non-injury to living beings ). Begins.- fol. 1.
सर्वदेवा न तत् कुर्युः सर्वदानानि चैव हि । सर्वे तीर्थाभिषेकाश्च यत् कुर्यात् प्राणिनां दया ॥१॥ कृमिकीटपतंगेषु तृणवृक्षादिकेष्वपि । दयां सर्वत्र कुर्वीत यथा(ss)त्मनि तथा परे ॥२ स्वयं रक्षति यो जीवान् रक्षयत्यपरानपि ।
