Gujarar. As a small beginning "Gujarat Sthalanama Saṁsad" was established in Baroda in 1957. In England we have "English Place-name Society” and in Scotland“ Scottish Place-name Sociсıy”. There are some in America, too.
As regards the comparative study one may consult“ Dictionary of English Place-names" published by the Oxford University, and publications of Place name Societies of various cities, oriental and occidental.
Page XII, line 31. Add: The No. 84 noted on p. 435 refer to 84 countries-regions. This portion thus furnishes us with geographical data, and it is useful for Appendix VII.
