Description.- Country paper thin, rough, tough and white ; Jaina
Devanagari characters ; very small, quite legible, uniform and very good hand-writing ; borders ruled in two lines in black ink; red chalk used to mark the numbering for the verses ; foll. numbered in both the margins; in the left-hand margins the title is written sometimes as पद्मचरि and at times as पद्मचरित्र ; there is some space kept blank in the centre of the numbered and the unnumbered sides as well; fol. !' blank ; condition very good ; complete so far as 7 sargas are concerned ; the last (8th) incomplete ; the extent of each of them is as under :Sarga I foll. 1 to 3.

सकलाहत्प्रतिष्टा(ष्ठा)नमधिष्टा(ष्टा)नं शिवभियः भूर्भुवःस्वस्तु(स्त्र)यीशानमाहत्यं प्रणिदध्महे ॥१ नामाकृतिद्रव्यभावैः पुनतास्त्रिजगज्जनं क्षेत्रे काले च सर्वस्मिन्नर्हतः समुपास्महे ॥२॥
