Extent.— 18 folios; 17 lines to a page ; 65 letters to a line. 5 Description. - Country paper thin, tough and white; Jaina Devanagari characters with frequent gears; small, quite legible, uniform and beautiful hand-writing; borders ruled in three lines in red ink; red chalk used; foll. numbered in the right-hand margin ; edges of some of the foll. gone ; condition on the whole good; there is some space kept blank in the centre of the numbered and the unnumbered sides as well; complete; a number of kathas given here: extent 1163 lokas.

Author.-- Dharmaśekhara Gani. He or his namesake is the author of चतुर्विंशतिजिनस्तवन ( यमक्रमय ) ( vide Vol. XIX, Sec. I, pt. I, No. 145 ) The same thing may be said about Mahopadhyaya Dharmasekhara who has commented upon Usabhapañcasiya in Sanskrit and Gujarati as well. Vide Vol. XIX, Sec. I, pt. 1, No. 53.

Subject. Narratives dealing with various topics. One of them is about the origin of the Digambara ( Boțika) sect.
Begins. fol.1 ६६० ॥ श्री आवश्यकस्य कथा ॥
कुतो ( s)पि नगरालोको वित्यक्षात कशंकया ।
अरण्यं शरणीच किंचिद्वैरिदुरासदं ॥ १
अपरेयुः पुनस्तत्राप्यवस्कंदभयातुरः । आत्तप्राणः पलायिष्ठ विमुच्य शकटादिकं ॥ २ etc. Ends. fol. 18b
मा भूलोको विरक्तो नस्ततो ( 5 ) द्य शाटकं ददौ
स्पा (सा) नैच्छद् बांधवेनोका (क्ता ) ब्राह्मो (S) यं देवताकरात् || १५ कोटवरश्व द्वौ शिष्य तेन दीक्षितौ ततः
