1880-81. Size - 309 in. by 23 in. Extent.-- 178 leaves; 5 to 7 lines to a leaf ; 122 10 137 letterss
to a line. Description. - Palm-leaf ; Jaina Devanagarī characters with
ÇTATTIS ; bold, big, legible and elegant hand-writing; leaves band 28 written in five columns but the line begun in one goes to the 2nd, 3rd, etc. till it gets 10 complete ; i. e. to say the columns are not independent; leaves 26 etc. divided into 3 columns only; every column has its borders ruled in few lines in black ink ; space between the first and the second is equal in extent to that between the fourth and the fifth ; each of these is more 15 than double that between the 2nd and the 3rd or that between the 3rd and the 4th, which is equal to the former ; in every leaf there are two holes for stringing up the difterent leaves ; edges of many leaves slightly worn out; several leaves worm-eaten ; numbers for leaves 20 entered twice: in the right-hand margin as 1, 2 etc. and in the leit-hand margin as ta, fa, , ut mostly as in the Ms. of 319rFTIO ( Vol. XVII, pt. 1, No. 9 ); red chalk used ; leaves 416, 42°, 836 and 84' more or less blotted out; leaves 42-47 & 95-101 more or less torn; 25 edges of leaves 59, 89 & 90 badly damaged ; a strip of paper pasted to leaf 64; half of the 119th leaf work out; a quarter of the 169th leaf gone ; condition tolerably fair;
incomplete; the next Ms. (No. 74 ) forms its counterpart. Age. — Fairly old. Begins.- leaf 16 ll & Oll AA: TT II A: PRAIAN 11 8 FA:
