No. 87, page 81. Subject.-- In Ardhamāgadhi-Reader ( p. XLVIII) it is said that the first 20 sayas ( śatakas ) are a record of conversation between Mahāvīra and his senior disciple Indrabhūti, and that sayas 21 to 41 contain legends which throw great light on the life of Mahāvira.
