1895-98. Size.- 10.1 in. by 5 in. Extent.-- (text ) 19 folios ; 8 lines to a page ; 30 letters to a line.

Jaina Devanågari characters; this Ms. contains both the text and its commentary ; it is practically a giat Ms.; the text 10 written in very big, quite legible, fairly uniform and good hand-writing ; same is the case with the commentary except that it is written in comparatively smaller hand-writing ; borders not ruled ; foll. nnmbered in the left-hand margin ; edges of a few foll. slightly gone ; condition on the whole 15 good ; since the first fol. is missing, both the text and its commentary begin abrupıly; but each of them goes up to
the end ; the commentary composed in Sainvat 1203. Age.- Samvat 1894. Begins.-- (text) fol. 26

पदुम किमिती पूर्वाचार्यप्रणीतस्य मंत्रस्तोत्रस्य वृत्ति(ः) क्रियते यतो भवतां प्रयोजनाभावात् अत्रोच्यते प्रयोजनं हि त्रिविधं प्रतिपादयंती परवादिकुंजरविदारणसृगेंद्राः सहृदयाः etc. - fol. 2' अत्त एवोभयप्रयोजनमपि संभवत्येव तस्माद् वृत्तिकरणेऽस्माकं प्रयोजन विद्यते तत्राय॑ वृत(त)माह श्री० अस्य व्याख्या रक्ष पालय हे देवि ! पद्मावतीशासनदेवि ! कं मां स्तुतिकतार कीदृशे देवि । श्रीमगीर्वाणचक्रस्फुटमुकुटतटीदिव्यमाणिक्यमाला etc. Thus a part of the Ist verse is given here.
