In this column C denotes the commentary and CC the Super-commentary. Sk, Pr, Og, etc. in the brackets denote the languages of commentaries. The mode of indicating the Text and the Commentary will be clear from S. No. 6 (p. 2) where the second line with a long hyphen shows the commentary.
Col. No. 4 : In this column the name of the author of the text is given where it is found. If the Ms. contains only the commentary the name of the commentator is given in this column.
Col. No. 5 : It contains the name of a commentator. If the Ms. contains the commentary only the name of the author of the commentary is given in Col. No. 4.
Col. No. 6: In this column P indicates that the Ms. is written on paper.
Col. No. 7: The letter D in this column indicates that the script of Ms. is Devanāgari.
Col. No. 8 : In this column the first entry is of the length and width of the Ms. in centimetres. Then comes the number of folios in the Ms. wbich is followed by the No. of lines in a single side of the folio and the No. of letters per line. The length and width are separated by the sign x and the other entries are separated by the sign of semicolon(;).
Col. No. 9 : In this Column C means that the Ms. is complete and Inc. means that it is incomplete ; G means the Granthāgia i, e. the total No. of Slokas calculated at the rate of 32 aksaras per Sloka.
Col. No. 10 : V means the Vikrama Samyat in which the Ms. was copied and the italic C before the V indicates that the approximate date is given by the editor.
Col. No. 11 : Relevant information about the Ms. is given in this column. Here Pub. means · Published by'. The names of the publishers are abbreviated (See the list of Abbreviations). In this column the word tripātha means that the text is given in the middle of the folio and on both the up and the down sides of the text the commentary is copied. Pañcapāțha means that the commentary is also copied in both of the margins of the folio. It indicates that there are five sections of a folio, The middle is reserved for the text, up and down portions as well as the right and the left margins are reserved for the commentary.
