It is with great pleasure that we offer to the scholars the fourth part of our Catalogue of Sanskrit and Prakrit Mss: Āc. Vijayadeva sūri's and Āc. Ksantisūri's Collections.
This part first lists 1369 mss. of Āc. Vijayadevasūri's collection and then 1042 mss. of Ac. Ksantisūri's collection. Thus in all 2411 mss. are listed here. They are divided into several major groups : Philosophy, Jaina literature, Vyakarana, Alankāra, Prosody, Nighanțu, Jyotişa, etc. The catalogue is followed by an exhaustive collection of excerpts from important colophons that contain many a time interesting historical data. Various indices pertaining to the catalogue and also to the colophons are given in this volume. A glance at the index of works is sufficient to show that many of them are unpublished and are expected to throw much light on aspects of Indology that have been scantily explored.
