many other aspects of Jainism that are important for the history of the Jain order. The two appendixes reveal the stupendous labour and ingenuity of the editors
10. The editors Sadhvi Vimalprajñā and Sadhvi Siddhaprajñā had before them the very difficult task of selecting appropriate technical terms, giving their precise definitions and providing systematic details spread over a vast mass of unorganized poorly edited literature Most creditably they fulfilled that onerous task for which they deserve all praise and appreciation.
The guiding spirit behind the excellent dictionary is Muni Dulaharajji who is a silent worker commanding complete mastery over the technicalities of Jaina exegetical literature composed in difficult Prakrit and Sanskrit languages. He guided in the past the editing of many other dictionaries of equal importance and merit, and is at present engaged in editing the momentous work Shri Bhikshu Manākávyam' written in elegant Sanskrit by the late Muni Nathmalji of Bagor.
I wish such dictionaries should be compiled also on other sections of Jain literature for offering to the world of researchers in Jainism comprehensive source books for comparative studies in Jainism and allied disciplines.
