according to the Jaina tradition. This treatise shows the masterly scholarship of Chorariyaji over the subject.
The plan of all his Cyclopaedias is a unique one. All the Cyclopaedias are divided into several sections as far as 99 and sub-divided into several other decimal points for the easy reference The system followed in this classification is the International decimal system used in the Library. Each decimal point is arranged in accordance with the topic connected with each subject. In each section and under each topic the original quotations from nearly 100 books followed by Hindi translations are given. All his references are not only valuable, but they represent the authenticity of the subject concerned. To compile such quotations in one place is a tremendous labour.
Besides these Kosas, Shri Chorariya has also compiled the Pudgala and Dhyana Kosas which will be published in course of time.
Shri Srichand Chorariya is a very good Scholar in Jainism. In his own scholastic way, he has been working on Jainism for a long time. In compiling these Cyclopaedias Shri Chorariya consults quite a number of books and gives a sustained effort for the better production of his theses. All his Cyclopaedias deserve cordial welcome from the scholarly world. All his Cyclopaedias have proved the apophthegm of Pythagoras
'Do not talk a little on many subjects, but much on a few.'
I trust that all his works must adorn the bookshelf of the library of every learned scholar.
