Publisher's Note
We are thankful to Dr. K.R.Chandra for compiling and editing the “Complete Prakrit-Sanskrit Word-Index of Isibhāsiyāim” The Prakrit text was edited long back by Prof. W.Schubring and it was republished by the L.D.Institute of Indology, Ahmedabad in 1974 A.D. It is one of the oldest and Senior Texts of the Ardhamāgadhi Jain Canonical Literature. This publication thus would be helpful to the scholars who are interested in the close study of the archaic form of the Ardhamāgadhi language because linguistic study of the Senior Canonical Works is a desideratum. Therefore, we are again thankful to the Prakrit Jain Vidya Vikas Fund and specially Dr. K. R. Chandra for his pains-taking labour in preparing this Word-Index and for giving the opportunity to our Prakrit Text Society for publishing this Work.
