________________ yo જીવન-દશન [14] Completely Baffling and Marvellous, Professor Shah, the Well-Kncun Practitioner of mental control, gave a remarkable demonstration of his mental powers to a crowded audience. About three ccre people asked the Professor a great number of questions on different subjects. His answers to all these were so accurate and exacting as to completely baffle the ordinary mortal. His control and concentration was nothirg short of marvellous. “ Karachi Daily" Karachi, 23-9-1937. [ 15 ] Audience Held Spell-Bound, Mr. Dhirajlal T. Shah, a well-known Jain writer and Editor of "Jain Jyoti” of Ahmedabad performed 100 extraordinary feats of memory popularly known in India as “ Shatavadhan” before a large public gathering on 9th instant here (i. e., at Bijapur). The whole audience was held spell bound for nearly four hours. High tributes were paid to him by the President of the occasion. A gold medal was awarded to him by the Jain Sangh. 3-10-1934 “ Bombay Chronicle" [16] Scholars & Examiners Wonderstruck. Uuder the Chairmanship of the Editor of “ Vishwamitra ", Shri Mulchandraji Agraval, the eminent Gujarati Scholar, Shri Dhirajlal Shah, of Bombay gave a performance of Shatavadhan at the local Hall of the Royal Asiatic Society and all the scholars and examiners attending the performance were wonderstruck at the feats of Shatavadhan, Calcntta, 21-3-1955.
