I am indeed happy to know that you are bringing out a felicitation volume to present to His Holiness Acharya Ratna Shri Desh Bhushanji Maharaj on the completion of his 51 years of dedicated, selfless, spiritual and religious service to the people. I have heard of his dedicated and selfless work. He has been offering solace to the distressed and preaching, harmony and peace. The nation is passing through a critical time. It seems it is out of its joints. There is a crisis of character. Erosion of basic accepted values is distorting the identity of the "Bharat' of Buddha, Mahavir and Gandhi. The monster of hatred, distrust and self-aggrandisement is threatenning to devour all good that we stand for. The desire to get rich quick and the lack of an intellectual and scientific temper is adding to the problem. Agrowing fear · psychosis is dwarfing the personality of many. In this back ground Persons like Desh Bhushanji Maharaj who walked through the nook and corner of India for last so many years spreading message of love, peace and equality is indeed a great source of inspiration.
