The author gives no information about himsell, but he makes a reference in his work to Siddhasena, Samantabhadra, Akalanka, Svayambhu and Pushpadanta (Vāgesvarigriha) (cf. extract). As we have seen above the last of these wrote in A.D. 965. Kanakāmara must have been wiiting shortly after this date.
Up till now we have dealt with Digambara authors and Svetambara works works. In Digambara temples the num
main ber of Svetämbara works must necessarily be limited. Most of those that are found have been described in Dr. Peterson's IV Report. Bates and genealogies of a few, however, that could be noted from the Karañjā manuscripts are given below.
Ratnasekhara Sūri composed Suipālacharita in Prakrit in V.S. 1428. His spiritual genealogy is this :--

चउदस अट्ठावीसे लिहिया गुरुभत्तिकलिएण ॥ २४ ॥ Jayasekhara wrote Samyaktı a-kaumudi in V.S. 1457.
हयेषु लोके संख्येऽब्दे सूरि श्रीजयशेखरः ।
संक्षिप्य संददर्भमां कथां सम्यक्त्वकौमुदीम् ।। Udayadharmagani wrote Väkya-prakása in 131 slokas, He was thc pupil of Ratnasimha Sūri and wrote in V.S. 1507 "ATT Fanat" at Simhapur.
Jinavijaya wrote a commentary (Vritti) on the above work in the year 1694 (TTTTTTT ) on the 6th Sukla paksha of Madhava month. He was a pupil of Kirttivijaya.
Ratnamandira gani wrote Bhoja-prabandha in V.S. 1517. His spiritual genealogy is as follows:
