Scries. It is a work on Adhyatmu and contains 107 verses. The prevailing metre is Doba, but in a few places the poet has gone in for Sorathā and Chaupai metres. Illustrations of these are given below :
जीवाजीवह भेउ, जो जाणइ ते जाणियउ। मोक्खह कारण एउ, भणइ जोइ जोइहि भणिउ ॥ ३८ ॥ धम्मु ण पढिया होइ, धम्मु ण पुच्छापिच्छयइ । धम्मु ण मढिय पयेसि, धम्मु ण मुच्छा लुच्चियइ ॥ ४६॥ कासु समाहि करउ को अंचउ । छोपु अछोपु कारवि को वंचउ ।। हल सह कलहि केण सम्माणउ । जहिं जहिं जोवउ तह अप्पाणउ ॥
The author's name occurs in the last verse and in the colophon of the work. Beyond that no other information has becu given. The Mangala charana of this work is similar to that of Paramatma-prakāśa of Yogindrarleva. From this fact combined with the siinilarity of the names of the authors, the writer of the introduction to the published work infers that the two may be identical. On the scanty evidence available the author has been assigned to the 12th century AD. One of the Kärañjā manuscripts of the work, bears on it a brief commentary by Indranandi, pupil of Amarakirtti. The work has also been named Dohāsāra.
Karakandu-charita by Kanakamara is yet another work of the Kanakamara. Apabhraṁsa language. It narrates the life
of a virtuous king Karakandū Mahārāja. The
