Margins are repaired, so most of the folio numbers are lost. Hence it is very difficult to keep the folios in order. Title is traced from F. 169b " इति पालकाप्ये वृद्धपाते (ठे) सूतिकानामाध्यायः ।” Marginal title is seen as पा.का. Two handwritings are traced in the MS.
पालकाप्यायुर्वेदः is otherwise known as गजायुर्वेदः. Hence it
can be found in the serial of T at the Asiatic Society. Beginning is incomplete, but the text end tallies with the 65th chapter of Khudrarogasthānam in the printed text. Beginning:
त् श्लेष्मोपसर्जनात् ॥
विज्ञानमेतद्व्याख्यातं चिकित्सितमतः शृणु । द्वेपं.......... सदृत्यपिप्पलीमूलमेव च ॥ हस्तिपिप्पलीमरिच बिल्वैः सह विपाचयेत् ।
वियत्कमनुपूर्वेण सुखोष्णमनुपाययेत् ॥
