First folio is numbered as 1, though it contains neither a benedictory verse, nor a proper beginning, F. la and F. 42b are mostly illegible.

The beginning is abrupt, so the original name of the text and the name of the author of the MS. could not be ascertained. The last line also does not throw any clear light on this particular point. It only depicts the work as 'अखिलभुवनसारं वैद्यशालम्" which has been taken here as the name of this MS. But the assumption is not without doubt.
