इहैकस्थं जगत्कृत्स्नं पश्याद्य सचराचरम् । मम देहे गुडाकेश यच्चान्यद्रष्टुमिच्छसि ॥७॥ न तु मां शक्यसे द्रष्टुमनेनैव स्वचक्षुषा। दिव्यं ददामि ते चक्षुः पश्य मे योगमैश्वरम् ॥८॥
संजय उवाच। $$ एवमुक्त्वा ततो राजन्महायोगेश्वरो हरिः।
दर्शयामास पार्थाय परमं रूपमैश्वरम् ॥९॥ अनेकवक्त्रनयनमनेकान्तदर्शनम् ।
अनेकदिव्याभरणं दिव्यानेकोद्यतायुधम् ॥१०॥ The description of the Cosmic Form (višvarūpa) shown to Nārada in the Nārāyaniya doctrine is more specific; and says that the twelve Suns were on the left side; the eight Vasus, in the front; the eleven Rudras, on the right side; and the Asvinikumāras, at the back (Săn. 339. 50-52). But this description does not seem to have been accepted everywhere (See Ma. Bhā. U. 130). The Adityas, Vasus, Rudras, Asvinikumāras, and Marudganas are Vedic deities, and a division into four classes among them has been made in the Mahābhārata by saying that the Adityas were Ksatriyas; the Marudganas, Vaisyas%3; and the Asvinikumāras, Sudras (San. 208. 23, 24).
