Avadhi-jūâna (Taraşta) ----Visual knowledge ; direct
knowledge of matter, limited as to (subjectmatter), place,
time and nature, i.e., without the help of the senses. Avadya (at)--Censurable character. Avagâha (Tamil) - Lit., Entrance. The state of giv-
ing ispace to other substances: this power lies in the
Äkäsa dravya. Avagâhana (state)-Entrance; depth; place;
