The central image, proved to be a Buddhistic image, is the figure of a Jain Tīrthankara resembling in many respects the image of what is now worshipped as Bhaironātha-The figure is either of Sumatinātha or of Vardhamana or Mahāvīra. The figure is now in the Paina Museum, No. 1596 (Archæology).
