The anger of this kind is usually compar ed to splits on muddy fields dried up by the scorching sun, which continues to remain until these are filled up by the moistening and softening of the soil from heavy
down-pour rains. (a-iii) Krodha Pratyakshyan-is that
kind of anger which intluences the mind for a still lesser period and is less intense in quality from the fact of its being compared frequently to line-marks in sand-fields which disappear off and on with the fleeting
movements of sands by the breeze. (a-iv) Krodha Sunjoalan-is the anger
of the shortest possible duration. It appears like a flash of lightning but gets quenched of itself immediately after, for which reason it is compared to a line drawn on the surface of water which leaves no vestige behind.
