(2) Misra mohaniya is what makes the Jiva oscillate between the right and the wrong and thus preventing him from coming to any particular discusion.
(3) Samyakta mohaniya is what makes the Jiva unable to devote himsef to the right cause though he is morally convinced of it, there being a bit of intellectual hesitation in the matter.
(b) CHARITRA MOHANIYA KARMA divides itself into two principal branches viz. (1) Kashaya-Passions; (2) Akashaya-corre lates of Passions.
(i) The kashayas are four in number namely, (a) Krodha-anger ; (b) Mân-pride; (c) Maya-deceit ; (d) Lobha-greed.
Now each of these four major Kashayas or passions is further analysed into four groups according to the intensity and protensiveness of influence as these have on human life,— (i) A kashaya which is most intense and protensive in exerting a life-long influence on the mind is called anantanubandhi kashaya.
