Finally it is with great pleasure that I see completion of the present work in 1975, the very year when the 2500th celebration of Lord Mabāvīra's Nirvana is taking place, and although resident in the West, I feel able, to a certain extent, to participate with the Jaina Community and many Jaina friends, in the commemoration of this important and solemn event.
