________________ Jaina Grantha Bhandars in R&lanthan 1381 In the 12th century, the famous Ācărya Hemcandra wrote Trisasti Purusa Carita' which is also on the lines of Mahapurana. This puräna describes the life of 63 great men, It is divided in 11 Purvas and is regarded as one of the good works of Sarnskrit literature. In this century Kavi Asaga wrote two purănas. One is called Mahāvira Purānal, and the other is Săntinātha Purana which describe the life of Jaina Tirthankara Mahavira and Santinātha respectively. In the 15th century Bhattāraka Sakalkirti had been a great scholar and a man of versatile genious. He wrote more than 20 works in Samskrit. The names of Purānas written by him are Adipuräna', Uttarapurana', Mahāvirapurāna, Sūntinátha Purana', Mallnätha Purana' and Pårswa Purāna. All these Purānas are available in various Bhandārs of Rajasthān. He was one of the most famous scholars of his time. Brahma Jinadāsa was also a great contemporary scholar He was the disciple of Bhattāraka Sakalkittı. He wrote Harivansapurina' and Padmapurānalo. Brahma Kåmari ja wrote Jayakumar Purâna'2 in 1498 A D. The Purāna is divided in 13 sargas. Nemidatta wrote Neminātha Purana 3 in 1518 A. D. This work contains 16 chapters and deals with the life of Lord Neminātha and other personalities. Bhattāraka Subhacandra a great scholar of 16th century was the pupil of Bhaitāraka Vijaykirti. He wrote Padmanābha Purāna and Pāndava Puranas (1551 A.D). In the 17th century Bhattāraka Dharmakirt wrote Padma Purana (1612 A.D) This work is divided in 24 Chapters. Bhattāraka Vadi Candra composed two Puranas one 16 Pānçava Purāņa 6 (1601) and the other is Pārsva Purāna.! Bhattāraka Sri Bhusana pupil of Vidya Bhusana wrote Pandava Puranas and. Cantinātha Purana'' (1602 A.D). Bhattāraka Candra Kirti of 17th century wrote Adinatha Purana20 on the life of Ādinātha, the first Tirthankara while Brahma Kesava Sena composed Karņāmrita Purāna2 in 1631 A. D.
