________________ ( 37 ) being, deposited in the Sāgar's Upāśraya. It contains 521 MSS. most of which are 300 to 400 years old. IX. The importance of the collection of the Khetarvasi is solely due to its 76 palm-leaf MSS. It is here that, I found the six 'dramas of Vatsarāja, the minister of Paramardideva of Kaliñjar. Besides some rare works of the Jains, it contains old palm-leaf MSS. of 'Gaudavaho, RRāvanavaho and Pulinda's *supplement to the Kādambarī. The MSS. in spite of their age, are in a good state of preservation; but owing to the carelessness of the keeper, they were lying bundled up in cloth pieces without wooden boards to pretect them. I impressed upon the keeper the importance of the collection under his charge, and I was assured, they would lienceforth be properly preserved. X. The collection in the Mahālakṣmi's Pādā contains 8 palm-leaf MSS. and a few complete paper MSS. Lāvangavijayaji's collection contains paper manuscripts of an ordinary interest most of which are now at Palanpur.
