तृणपणैः सदा कुर्यादेकां चतुर्दशी विना ।
तस्यामपि च कतव्यं शुष्ककाष्ठेजिनाचेने ॥ ७० ॥ . एक चतुर्दशीको छोड़कर बाकीके सभी दिनोंमें तिनके और पत्तोंसे दाँत साफ करे । चतुदशीके दिन यदि जिन भगवानकी पूजा करनी हो तो सूखी हुई दतौनसे दाँत साफ करे ॥ ७० ॥
सहस्रांशावनुदिते यः कुर्यादन्तधावनम् ।
स पापी मरणं याति सर्वजीवदयातिगः ॥ ७१ ॥ सूर्यके उगने पहले जो दतौन करता है वह पापी है, जीवोंकी दयासे परांमुख है और मरणको प्राप्त होता है । भावार्थ-यह भयप्रदर्शक वाक्य है, इसका सारांश इतना ही है कि सूर्योदयसे पहले दतीन करना हानिकारक है ॥ ७१ ॥
अङ्गारखालकाभिश्च भसादिनखरैस्तथा !
इष्टकालोष्ठपापाणैर्न कुर्यादन्तधावनम् ॥ ७२ ॥ कोयला, वालू, राख, नख, ईंट, मिट्टीका ढेला और पत्थरसें दाँत न घिसे ॥ ७२ ॥
अलाभे दन्तकाष्ठानां निषिद्धायां तिथावपि ।
अपां द्वादशगण्डूपैर्मुखशुद्धिः प्रजायते ।। ७३ ।। यदि लकड़ीकी दोन न मिले तो जलके बारह कुरले करनेसे ही मुखशुद्धि हो जाती है । और निषिद्ध तिथियोंमें भी ऐसा करनेसे मुखशुद्धि होती है ॥ ७३ ॥
नेत्रयो सिकायाश्च कर्णयोर्विवराणि च ।
नखान स्कन्धौ च कक्षादि शोधयेदम्भसा नरः ।। ७४ ।। नेत्र, नाक, कान, नख, कन्धे और बगल आदिको भी जलसे शुद्ध करे ॥ ७ ॥
जलाशये न कर्तव्यं निष्ठावं मुखधावनम् ।
किञ्चिद्रेऽपि तीरस्य पुनायोति तद्यथा ॥ ७५ ।। जलाशयके भीतर न तो थूके और न मुँह धोवे । तीरसे कुछ हटकर कुरला वगैरह फेंके जिससे कि वह वापिस लौटकर जलाशयमें न आवे ॥ ७५ ।।
तोयेन देहद्वाराणि सर्वतः शोधयेत्पुनः । __ आचमनं ततः कार्य त्रिवार प्राणशुद्धये ॥ ७६ ॥ . शरीरके सभी छिद्रोंको एक एक करके जलसे साफ करे ! इसके बाद प्राणशुद्धि के लिए तीन बार आचमत करे ।। ७६ ।।
