· · त्रैवर्णिकाचार।
यह मंत्र बोलकर टट्टीके लिए बैठे। इस मंत्रका भाव यह है कि हे इस क्षेत्रमें रहनेवाले क्षेत्रपाल क्षमा कीजिये, मुझे अल्प शक्तिधारी मनुष्य समझिये, आप इस स्थानसे हट जाइए—मैं यहाँपर मल: क्षेपण करता हूँ ॥ ३२॥
क्षेत्रपालाज्ञया क्षेत्र पूर्वास्योवोत्तरामुखः । शिरःप्रदेशे कर्णे वा धृतयज्ञोपवीतकः ॥३३॥. .... पूर्वादिदिक्षु निक्षिप्तदृष्टिरूर्वमधोऽपि वा ।.
मन्दतालोमतृष्णासु चित्संस्मरन्मलं सृजेत् ॥ ३४ ॥ इस तरह क्षेत्रपालसे आज्ञा लेकर पूर्व, दिशाकी ओर या उत्तर दिशाकी ओर मुँह करके टट्टीके लिए बैठे, यज्ञोपवीतको सिरपर अथवा कानमें टाँगले । टट्टी करते समय अपनी नजर चारों दिशा
ओंमें या ऊपरको या नीचेको रक्खे । तथा उस समय न तो अधिक देर करें, न शीघ्रता करे और न अपने चित्तको इधर उधर डुलावे॥ ३३-३४॥ - ततो वामकराङ्गुष्ठानगुलिद्वितयेन वै ।
शिश्नस्याग्रं गृहीत्वैवं किञ्चदूर ब्रजेद् गृही ॥३५॥ इसके बाद, बायें हाथके अंगूठे और अँगूठेके पासकी दो उँगलियोंसे लिंगके अग्रभागको ग्रहणकर जलाशय तक जावे ॥ ३५ ॥
प्रासुकं जलमादाय चोपविश्य यथोचितम् । . .
जानुद्वयस्य मध्ये तु करौ न्यस्याचरेच्छुचिम् ॥३६॥ वहाँ, जलाशयके किनारे पर ठीक रीतिसे बैठकर, दोनों घुटनोंके बीचमें दोनों हाथोंको रखकर प्रासुक जलसे गुदप्रक्षालन करे॥ ३६ ॥ .
तीर्थे शौच न कर्तव्यं कुर्वीतोद्धृतवारिणा ।
गालितेन पवित्रेण कुर्याच्छौचमनुद्धतः॥३७॥ तीर्थस्थानके जलाशयोंमें गुद-प्रक्षालन न करे । लोटे वगैरहसे निकाल कर छने हुए पवित्र जलसे शौच करे ॥ ३७॥
जलपात्रं ज्येष्ठहस्ते वामस्हतेन शौचकम् ।
पुनः प्रक्षाल्य हस्तं तं पुनः शौचं विधीयते ॥ ३८ ॥ पानीके लौटेको दाहिने हाथमें पकड़े और बायें हाथसे शौच करे । एक बार ऐसा कर चुके इसके बाद हाथ धोवे और फिर दूसरी बार शौच करे ॥ ३८ ॥
गन्दतागतिरागरयमन्यधिसत्वगुत्सणेन, इति पाठः साधीयान् ।।
