त्रैवर्णिकाचार।
अपर समदिनाम वधू-प्रवेश प्रशस्त बताया है। वे सम दिन कौन कौनसे हैं यह इस श्लोकद्वारा बताते हैं-सम. दिनोंमें विवाह दिनसे लेकर चौथा, छठा, आठवां और दशवा दिन वधूके प्रथमा प्रवेशके लिए शुभ हैं, सम्पत्तिशाली हैं और सब मनोरयोंको पूर्ण करनेवाले हैं। महीनों में दूसरा, चौथा, छठा, आठवां और दशवां शुभ हैं। पांचवां महीना भी आयुप्रद है। तथा वर्षोंमें दूसरा, चौथा, छठा और आठवां अशुभ हैं ।। १८१ ॥
देवोत्थापन। समे च दिवसे कुर्याद्देवतोत्थापनं बुधः ।
पष्ठे.च विपमे नेष्टं त्यक्त्वा पञ्चमसप्तमौ ।। १८२ ॥ समदिनों में देव उठावे । परंतु समदिनोंमें छठा दिन प्रशस्त नहीं है । तथा पांचवें और सात दिनको छोड़कर शेप विषम दिन भी श्रेष्ठ नहीं हैं ॥ १८२ ॥
प्रतिष्ठादिनमारभ्य पोडशाहाच्च मध्यतः ।
मण्डपोद्वासनं कुर्यादुद्वाहे चेद्वतेदृशम् (१).॥ १८३ ॥ प्रतिष्ठादिनसे लेकर सोलह दिनके पहले पहले मंडप उठा देना चाहिए । तथा विवाहमें भी विवाहदिनसे लेकर सोलह दिनके पहले पहले ही उठा देना चाहिए || १८३ ॥ .
विवाहात्मथमे पोपे त्वापाढे चाधिमासके। .
न च भतुगृहे वासश्चैत्रे तातगृहे तथा ॥ १८४ ।। वधूको विवाहके अनंतर पहले पूपमें, पहले अपादमें और अधिक मासमें पतिक घरमें निवास नहीं करना चाहिये तथा प्रथम चैत्रमें पिताके पर भी नहीं रहना चाहिए ॥ १८४ ॥
लग्न प्रतिघात । कृते वाग्भिश्च सम्बन्धे पश्चान्मृत्युश्च गोत्रिणाम् ।
तदा न मङ्गलं काय नारीवैधव्यद ध्रुवम् ॥ १८५ ।। वाग्दान हो चुकने के बाद, यदि अपने किसी गोत्रजकी मृत्यु हो जाय तो आगे कहे जानेवाले समयके पहले पहले विवाह नहीं करना चाहिए। क्योंकि उस समयके पहले विवाह करनेसे कन्या विधवा हो जाती है। भावार्थ-यद्यपि श्लोकमें सामान्य गोत्रजका ग्रहण है तो भी वरं और वकी तीसरी-चौथी पीढ़ीतकके मनुष्यका ग्रहण करना चाहिए ॥ १८५ ॥
