और पत्थर के चारों तरफ सूत लपेटकर वेदोके अग्रभागमें रक्खे। उस पर गुड़, जीरा, नमक, हल्दी और अक्षत इनके पृथक् पृथक् पांच पुंज रक्खे | यह सब अंकुरारोपण-विधि है । इसी तरहकी विधि कन्या के घर भी की जाय ॥ ५८-६४ ॥

उस दिन वरका कर्तव्य ।
वरः स्नानादियुक् पश्चात्स्वस्तिवाचनपूर्वकम् । होमं विधाय भुञ्जीत पित्राचार्यादिसंयुतः ॥ ६५ ॥
वर स्नान आदि कर स्वस्तिवाचन पूर्वक गृहयज्ञ करे । अनन्तर पिता आचार्य आदिको साथ लेकर भोजन-पान करे ॥ ६५ ॥
वरका वधूक घरपर गमन ।
अपरेद्युः कृतस्नानो धातवस्त्रधरो वरः ।
स्वलंकृतः सितच्छत्रपदातिजातिबान्धवैः ।। ६६ ।। तो वधूगृहं गच्छेद्वावैभवगर्जितः । freerat नरैः पीत्या तत्रस्थैः कन्यकाश्रितैः ॥ ६७ ॥ तण्डुलादिभिराकीर्णे चन्द्रोपकादिभूपिते ।

दूसरे दिन - विवाह के रोज वर स्नान कर, धोये हुए स्वच्छ कपड़े और आभूषण पहनकर सिरपर सफेद छतरी लगाकर, नौकरों और जातीय बांधवोंको साथ लेकर, गाजे-बाजेके ठाठसहित वधू के घरपर जावे । कन्या-पक्षके सज्जन प्रीतिपूर्वक वरको बधाव | अनंतर वर तंदुल आदि आकीर्ण, चंद्रोपक (चंदोवा) आदिसे सजे हुए श्वसुर के पवित्र घरपर साथवाले संजनोंके साथ बैठ जाय | अनंतर देश-कालके अनुसार बूढ़ी बड़ेरी स्त्रियां जैसा बतावें उस तरह लाने ले जाने आदिकी सारी क्रियाओंको सब स्त्रियां मिलकर संपादन करें ।। ६६-६९ ॥
विवाहभेदाः - विवाह के आठ भेद |
ब्राह्मो दैवस्तथा चार्षः प्राजापत्यस्तथाऽऽसुरः । arrar राक्षसचैव पैशाचचाष्टमोऽधमः ॥ ७० ॥
